Inspiration.....

Well, Saturday ended my Beauty Boot Camp class. I tend to get a little misty around the end, although they are all scheduled to attend the next Camp.
I gave them a Papa John's pizza party and they brought some CD's in, and watched a haircut demonstration.

Lavinia wanted a haircut, but only 6 classes after the first class, her hair has grown at least 3 inches, sound strange? As I discussed this with the other moms, it happened to come up that she was a vegetarian. Bingo. Her hair and nails grow like water because of her diet! Amazing.

I hope that I inspire these girls. I get my inspiration from lots of places.
Waking up to sunlight inspires me, thinking about the future inspires me. Sometimes it's very hard to let go of the past, yet it has to be done, if you want to move forward.

Oddly, enough I am inspired by a French Grafitti artist, Miss Van. Her art is flirty, sexy yet innocent and soft. I love her work, I actually contacted her once to discuss making a logo for my boutique. It was a flat out no, but I will keep trying, she really captures what the shop is about. With her, I will be the little engine that could.


I want to be an inspiration, because others have inspired me so much.

To handle strife and negativity with grace and elegance. To be the bigger man and keep your mouth shut. To simply be a lady when situations arise. That is what I would like to inspire in others.
